Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree state regulation of in the sphere of import and export of ozone-destructive substances, Trend reports.
In accordance with Article 4 of Montreal protocol on substances destroying ozone stratum, which Azerbaijan has joined, bans import from countries not entering the protocol, regulating the ozone-destroying substances, set by the Montreal protocol, as well as export of this category of substances in the above-said group of countries, the document reads.
The Cabinet of Ministers is charged within 2 months to design and confirm a list of ozone-destroying substances, indicated in the Montreal protocol, with consideration of names and codes of the nomenclature of goods of foreign economic activities.
Jointly with the relevant state bodies it is necessary to take measures on the application of the state regulation in the sphere of import and export of ozone-destructive substances.
The decree enacts into law since the date of signing.
