OSCE heads in Baku met leaders of several parties

The Democratic Reforms party chairman, Asim Mollahzadeh, National Independence party vice-chairman, Ayaz Rustamov and Musavat party vice chairman, Sulhaddin Akbar met the leadership of the Baku OSCE branch. Head of the Baku OSCE office, Maurisio Pavesi, Electoral Consultant, Jonathan Stonestreet and head of the Electoral Department, Gerard Mitchel have participated at the meeting, Trend reports.

The major goal of the meeting was to discuss the OSCE participation at the re-run parliamentary elections on May 13.

Questions regarding the continuation of the opposition government dialog after the elections were also included into the talks, Rustamov said.

According to Mollahzadeh, pre-election campaign and forms of the participation in elections by parties were broadly discussed at the meeting. The Democratic Reforms representatives also mentioned that after the elections they are planning to launch a number of actions connected with the party activity.
