Transport ministers to meet in regard to Kars-Akhalkalaki-Tbilisi-Baku project in May - Ziya Mammadov
Turkish Yuksel Domonik completed preparations for feasibility study of the project on opening of the Kars-Akhalkalaki-Tbilisi-Baku railway and submitted to all participant sides for consideration, Trend reports Ziya Mammadov, the Azerbaijani Transport Minister, as stating ANS TV channel on Friday.
The final value of the project is around $400m. According to Mammadov, the transport ministers of 3 countries are expected to meet in May to approve the project. During the meeting the sides suppose to approve draft feasibility study.
The length of the railway comprises 98 km, with 30 km falling to the Georgia, 68 km - Turkey.
