On 24 April the Supreme Board of the Popular Front of United Azerbaijan Party (PFUAP) will hold a meeting, Trend reports quoting Elchin Mirzabayli, the PFUAP secretary on foreign relations.
Mirzabayli noted that the meeting was planned in relation to the commemoration ceremony of the Turkish soldier saved Azerbaijani people from genocide. Armenians mark the day of invented genocide on 24 April, but this date must be marked as the day of rescue of the Azerbaijani people by the Turkish forces from genocide, he added. According to Mirzabayli, on 24 April the members of the party will hold a commemoration ceremony in front of the monument erected in the memory of the Turkish soldier at the Alley of Martyrs prior to the meeting of the Supreme Board.
He also said the meeting of the Supreme Board would consider organization issues as well. It will approve the mandates of new members of the Supreme Board. The same time, some structural changes are not excluded.
