The Eurocomission General Directorate` s head on foreign affairs, Fokion Fotiadis arrives to Baku late in the evening April 6, the Azerbaijani ambassador in the Benelux and EU countries, Arif Mammedov told Trend.
The visit `s program includes meetings with the president, prime-minister, minister of the economic development, Fuel and energy, foreign affairs, and the State Oil Company. The European policy of neighborhood, EU energetic security, and expansion of the transit corridors from Central Asia to Azerbaijan and EU in accordance with the EU Green Paper (a document defining EU Energetic Safety strategy) will be discussed at the meetings.
The directorate` s advisor on Energetic issues, Fauzi Bensarsa will accompany Fotiadis in the trip.
The European guests will arrive to Baku after the trips to Yerevan and Tbilisi.
