Mehriban Aliyeva, the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, receive don 11 April a delegation of the US Jewish Community Federation headed by Lev Levayev, the Presidentof this organization, Trend reports.
Aliyeva acquainted the guests with the history and activities of the Foundation, programs implemented in the country in the different spheres, including health, education and culture.
Only last year 132 secondary schools were built, programs on assistance to children suffering from diabetics and talassemia were implemented at the expense of the Foundations funds.
Levayev underlined high tolerance existing in Azerbaijan and appreciated the Funds activities.
