A visit of the chairman of the Council of Europe (CE) Ministerial Committee, the Romanian Foreign Minister, Mikhiy Rezvan Ungurian, is still actual, the Romanian embassy in Azerbaijan told Trend.
Originally scheduled for early April 2006 has been postponed due to objective reasons. Ungurianu plans to pay a visit Azerbaijan as part of a tour of South Caucasus, the embassy said.
During the visit it planned to discuss issues on further integration of Azerbaijan in the CE, which is currently chairs by Romania, as well as perspectives for bilateral cooperation, consider opportunities for strengthening of the legal-agreement basis of the two countries.
