A Political Council meeting of the party, headed by Ali Aliyev and split from the Azerbaijan National Independence party (NIP) took place on April 14, Ali Aliyev told Trend.
Perspectives of Central council gathering in order to change the party` s name and discuss the situation after the ministry` s of justice decision on NIP registration have been discussed at the meeting.
Several proposals about changing the party` s name have been suggested. The most popular of them is party of Azerbaijani development. Other versions included party of national reforms and party our Azerbaijan. It was decided to hold the Central Council meeting on April 30. The exact date and agenda of the founding conference of the party with new name will be discussed at that meeting. The conference will be held in the first decade of June the latest.
