Japanese government repairs kindergarten building in Sangachal

The solemn opening of reconstructed kindergarten was held April 17 in town of Sangachal, Karadagh area. Trend reports that the project was financed by Japanese government allotting nearly $93k and supported by Look at peace international organization.

The agreement on the project was signed July 2005 between Japanese Embassy to Azerbaijan and aforesaid international organization. Its program manger Wesley Harnish said the agreement was directed to increase of education quality, accounting of pre-schoolers in the town, as well as organization of childrens time.

The project is executed within the framework of Japanese governmental program Roots of grass and human safety, said tadahiro Abe, Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan. In general the program, he added, is targeted to social projects in Azerbaijan. Mr Abe said also in total 74 projects have been executed in Azerbaijan in amount of $4.7mln.
