All natural wealth of the territory under the Armenian occupation, including the platan forest located in Zangilan District, is embezzled barbarically, the Azerbaijani Ecology Minister Huseyn Bagirov told Trend.
The platan forest lies in the area of 107h and ranks second in the world and first in Europe platan forest referred to Jurassic nature.

He noted that work over clarification of the foreign companies buying material made of valuable sorts of eastern plane-tree and other wood material fabricated in a workshop in Rezdere in the territory of Beshitchay state reserve, on ensuring bans on purchase and sale of illegal goods realized through private foreign firms, or filing lawsuits with respect to pressure on these firms financial activities.
It is planned to carry out some events in the occupied areas of Azerbaijan in compliance with the OSCE program on Environment and Security. First of all the international organization will be informed about the ecological situation and formation of international opinion on the topic, he underlined.
