Transparent inks for elections brought to the country

Containers with transparent inks for re-run parliamentary elections brought to the country on April 20, the head of the international affairs department of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), Rovzat Gasimov told Trend .

Inks were brought from USA. The operation has been financed by IFES- International Fund for Electoral System. Inks are needed to mark the fingers of voters as it has been done during the previous parliamentary elections held in 10 districts of the country. The given procedure is applied in order to prevent voters from giving their votes twice. 900 small ink containers have been ordered by CEC in the United States.
