The next expert meeting to delimit and demark state borders between Azerbaijan and Russia will take place at the end of May early June in Baku, the State committee on land and maps chairman, Garib Mammedov told journalists, Trend reports.
There are currently 3 disputed border areas between Azerbaijan and Russia- in Belokan district, Samukh river and in the forested area. Materials on all 3 areas have been prepared by the experts and they will be reviewed at the next meeting of the inter-governmental commission on delimitation and demarcation.
5 border areas have already been agreed on with Georgia, 8 more are left, the chairman said. Works will be continued in that direction, he concluded.
