The Speaker of the legislative house of the Ali Majlis (Supreme Assembly) of Uzbekistan, Erkin Khalilov, will pay a visit to Azerbaijan. An adviser of Uzbekistans embassy Baku, Karimov said that the speaker will represent Uzbekistan at the forthcoming summit of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member-countries in Baku on 5 May.
According to the adviser, the speaker is expected to arrive in Azerbaijan on 4 May. Within the framework of the summit Khalilov intends to hold bilateral meetings with the Azerbaijani leadership, as well as the heads of delegation of different countries.
At preset the embassy is coordinating a program of forthcoming meetings.
