There was no Azerbaijani citizen among the victims of terror attacks on the resort city Dahab in Egypt, Agasalim Shukurov, the first adviser of the Azerbaijani embassy in Egypt, told Trend in an exclusive interview.
The diplomat immediately upon release of announcement on the blast the Azerbaijani embassy Egypt held analysis and determined that no Azerbaijani tourist was in Dahab at that moment.
According to the Egyptian Interior Ministry, 2 foreigners died in blasts in Dahab, other 20 injured. The total number of victims reaches 23, including one citizen of Russia and one of Switzerland. Three citizens of the United States, three of the Netherlands, two of France, two of Italy, one of South Korea, three of the UK, on Lebanon, one of Palestine, two of Germany, one of Israel and one of Australia got injuries. They were sent to a central hospital in Sharm-al-Sheikh.
