Norwegian state minister starts visit to Azerbaijan
The Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Norway set up consultations in Baku on 8 May, Trend reports. The consultations are held within the framework of a visit of State Secretary and Deputy Frien Minister of Norway, Katle Skogrnad, to Azerbaijan.
The visit program includes talks with the with the Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Ministers, Araz Azimov and Khalaf Khalafov, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, as well as President Ilham Aliyev. The talks will focus on perspectives of bilateral relationships in the political, economic and culture spheres.
The Norwegian embassy in Azerbaijan said that no document was scheduled for signing as a result of talks in Baku.
Following Azerbaijan the State Secretary plans to visit Georgia and Armenia, the embassy said.
