Re-run elections from 10 constitutes starts in Azerbaijan

The re-run parliamentary elections are being held in Azerbaijan on 13 May in 10 constituencies. The polls in these constituencies started at 8.00am, Trend reports.

The re-run elections are held in Binagadi second constituency 9 (18 candidates), Surakhani second constituency 31 (13 candidates), Nizami-Ganja second constituency 38 (13 candidates), Sumgayit second constituency 42 (15 candidates), Sumgayit Absheron 44 (14 candidates), Jalilabad Masalli Bilasuvar 69 (11 candidates), Gedebey 103 (12 candidates), Tovuz-Gazakh -Agstafa 106 (7 candidates), Zagatala110 (7 candidates) and Agdam 119 (14 candidates). 343 polling stations in these constituencies, 9 of them was established in the military divisions and reformatories.

124 candidates participates in elections, including 60 non-party men, 17 did not indicated their party membership, 10 members of ruling New Azerbaijan Party, 9 Musavat, 5 the National Independence Party and the Unified Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party, 3 Umid party, Adalat and Communist parties, 2 the Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party, 1 - Peoples Democratic Party, the Civil Solidarity Party, the Democratic Azerbaijan Party, the Social Democratic Party, Vahdat, the Democratic Reforms Party, the Great Azerbaijan Party.

Elections Information Center will function on the day of elections on 13 May starting from 8.00am, to 19.00pm on 14 May. The Center will function until the issue of initial results on elections constituencies. During the day the Information Center will publicize the results regularly. Poling will end at 19.00pm.
