A meeting of the CIS heads of state will be held in Minsk, Belorus, in September-October, Trend reports citing Yuriy Melnik, the acting Prime Minister, as quoted by.
During the meeting of CIS Council of Prime Ministers in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, they sounded different dates.
Melnik noted that the final date of the gathering will be defined as soon as the CIS countries determine with the participation the international conference which is to be held in that period.
The most probable date is 19-20 October, which was proposed by Belorus.
They proposed to organize a meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers and the Council of Prime Ministers on 19 October and a meeting of CIS heads of state on 20 October.
The CIS heads of state held a summit in August 2005 in Kazan, Tataristan Republic of Russia.
