The bank account of alternative World Azerbaijanis Congress that is assembling in Stockholm has been closed, Trend reports with reference to initial WAC headed by Javad Derehti.
Head of WAC press service Ali Nijat said the group that split off WAC is assembling in Stockholm and opened a bank account on WAC name. Original WAC sent a complaint to Swedish law-enforcement authorities. В"We submitted all relevant documents and proved the illegality of opening the said account. After that this bank account was closed. According to the Swedish laws, persons opened fake bank account are subject to accountability. But we did not want to bring the matter to that extent, besides they are our compatriotsВ", - Nijat said.
