An intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Slovenia will be established by the end of the year, Borut Megusar, the honorary consul of Slovenia in Azerbaijan told Trend.
Mengusar said that an idea on the establishment of a commission has existed a long and the issue was under consideration of the two countries currently. He establishment of such commission would expand the opportunities for the development of economic cooperation between the two counties, the growth of the goods turnover last year amounted to $5m,with the major part comprised of medicine.
The diplomat noted that several Slovenian companies specialized in home appliances, pharmaceutics function in Azerbaijan. Wed like to increase the number of such companies, he stressed.
