Azeri president Ilham Aliyev on June 29 received in Baku the head of Cisco Systems Company John Chembers, Trend reports.
Speaking about the economic development in the country, Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan takes leading place in the world in connection with the growth of gross demotic product (GDP). According to Aliyev, the increase of interest of foreign companies including Cisco Systems towards Azerbaijan is the indicator of successful development of the country. Aliyev informed about the demand of the country for new technologies and from this point of view he expressed his hope that the activity of the company will be successful.
Head of the Cisco Systems Company ruled out that his visit will help closely get familiar with the country and developing economy. He expressed his confidence about further expansion of relations with Azerbaijan.
