Azer president participated in opening ceremony of reconstructed bus station in Ujar district

Within the visit to Ujar district, Azeri president Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening ceremony of the reconstructed bus station. The repair works took about six months, Mubariz Abbasov, the head of the bus station, told, Trend reports.

The bus station may serve 100-180 auto-transport means and 700-800 passengers a day. The station will be used mainly for the transit transportations through Ujar, as well as passages to other regions of the country. The head of the station appealed to the Ministry of Transport of Azerbaijan for opening of a passage to Moscow.

The opening ceremony was the first part of the visit of president to Ujar district. The goal of the visit is to get familiar with the realization of state programs on social-economic development of regions of Azerbaijan. Besides, the president will visit Gazi-Gumlag avenue where a hospital will be opened named after Zarifa Aliyeva and repaired school. On June 30, Aliyev will visit Zardab district where he will participate in opening ceremony of objects of social character.
