Visit of Georgian Prime Minister was changed

The visit of the Georgian prime minister to Azerbaijan was changed by a day and will be paid on July 5. The Georgian prime minister Zurab Nogaideli will make a one-day working visit to Azerbaijan, special correspondent of Trend in Tbilisi reports quoting the office of the prime minister. The reasons of the visit are being agreed.

One of the key questions will be the talks on additional gas volume from the Shah-Deniz field for Georgia.

The experts of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey have completed the work on Georgias receiving additional gas from the project of Baku-Tbilisi-Arzurum gas pipe. On June 16-18, the experts in Tbilisi discussed the proposals of Georgian side which intend Georgias purchase of at least 1,5 billion cubic meters of natural gas from the South Caucasus gas pipe from 2007, with privileged terms.

After the visit to Azerbaijan, Georgian prime minister will leave for Turkey where he will hold similar talks.
