At present it is too early to speak about the prices of additional volume of Azerbaijani gas to be lifted from the Shah-Daniz, Trend reports citing Natik Aliyev, the Azerbaijan Minister for Industry and Energy, as stating.
Aliyev said that the prices are formed at world markets and price of gas tat Azerbaijan import from Russia depends on world prices.
'We dont how much the Russian gas will cost next year and obviously, we are will not purchase gas at high prices and sell at low prices, he emphasized.
The minister noted that Azerbaijan was not going to re-export Russian gas to Georgia. The Azerbaijani gas will be sold to this country, while prices will be regulated in accordance with the terms specified, he stressed.
