Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan has made assessment of about 1000 bills during first half of this year

In the first half of the current year, the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan made assessment of about 1000 bills, orders, decrees and other documents, Fikrat Mammadov, the minister of justice, told on July 5, Trend reports.

He noted that the Ministry has developed the projects of 70 normative-legal acts and conducted the expertise of 75 normative-legal and normative acts. Over the last five years, 544 laws and other normative-legal documents were developed, as well as 3583 such documents were assessed.

the ministry transferred to interactive regime, the operative consideration of the requests was ensured by electronic posts and hot lines. In general, over the first half of the current year, the ministry has received about 8 thousand requests, 3 thousand citizens were accepted at the ministry and concrete measurers were taken for the solution of their problems, told minister of justice.

According to Mammadov, for the purpose to promote the quality of service of notary organs and civilian registration offices, several bills were adopted in this sphere, with the initiative of the Ministry of Justice. Last year, the notary organs have registered 907.155 actions and civil registration office - 136.537 operations. State duty in amount of AZN 3,5 million was paid in notary offices and AZN 240 thousand in civil registration offices, told minister.
