On August 22, the Azerbaijanis living in South Azerbaijan will hold a march towards Savalan Mountain, Jahandar Bayoglu, the chairman of the Protection Committee of the National Movement of South Azerbaijan (NMSA), told, Trendreports.
Bayoglu noted that after the march of South Azerbaijanis towards Bazz castle in 2002, a march was held towards Savalan Monument. Since then, a decision was made to hold a march on August 22 of each year towards Savalan Mountain. The goal is to demonstrate our unity, told Bayoglu. Besides, he stressed that the Protection Committee holds discussions on preparation to the march towards Savalan Mountain.
Bayoglu added that the disseminated information about the issue that on July 9, a march will be held towards Bazz castle again, doesnt correspond with the reality.
