Local or international observers did not address the central Election Commission of Azerbaijan on the matter of forthcoming municipal elections to date,Trend reports with reference to CEC.
Irada Hajiyeva, head of legal department with CEC, said no applications have arrived to date. She said observers registration deadline is 10 days prior to the voting. В"They are not hurrying to pass the registration as much time is leftВ", she added.
Head of the International Relations Department of the CEC, Rovzat Gasimov, noted that he has not received any appeal from the international organizations and countries in connection with the implementation of observation. The representatives of the international organizations which the CEC cooperate on the base of bilateral agreements are expected to visit the country to monitor the municipal elections.
