A process on establishment of a Unified Azerbaijan Movement (UAM) is carried out of borders of Azerbaijan, Faraj Guliyev, the leader of the National Survival Movement, old Trend.
A resolution on the establishment of the UAM was made several months ago in meeting with the participation of Guliyev, the former Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iran, Aliyar Safarli, the former Education Minister Firudin Jalilov, the head of the Way of Unified Azerbaijan Organization, Ulvi Hakim.
Guliyev said that as the organization work is very weak in Azerbaijan, there is necessity for assisting in our foreign Diaspora. We held talks with the head of culture circles functioning in Turkey, Diaspora in Europe, political organization active in Sweden, the Netherlands, and the United States. Our key objective is to form the UAM abroad. No importance is attached to it in our country, Guliyev underscored.
Guliyev also noted that issue on possible placement of the headquarters of the would-be organization in Europe is under consideration.
