On July 12, the ceremony of farewell with outstanding film director Rasim Ojagov was held in Musical Comedy Theater. Trend reports teh ceremony hosted his friends, colleagues, figures of art, science, governmental officials.

Famous workers of art and culture, performing with speeches, shared their memories about Ojagov. Adalat Veliyev, deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, narrated of life and activity of R.Ojagov, about his devotion to Azeri cinema.
In their speeches, director of Azerbaijanfilm cinema studio Hamish Muradov, first secretary Rasim Balayev, chairman of Writers Union Anar, chairman of Artists union Frhad Khalilov, chairman of Theatric workers union Azerpasha Nematov, R.Ojagovs son-in-law Altay Gasanov shred their thoughts about activities and creative way of the late, highly appraising his work and movies.
Afterwards, members of family said goodbye to R.Ojagov. He was buried at the Honorary Funeral Alley.
