Cultural days of Saint-Petersburg to be held in Baku Azeri consular in Saint-Petersburg
The cultural days of Saint-Petersburg will be held in Baku within the Russian years in Azerbaijan in October 2006, Gudsi Osmanov, the general consular of Azerbaijan in Saint-Petersburg, told Trend.
He noted that a delegation headed by the governor of Saint-Petersburg Valentine Matvienko will come to Azerbaijan. The delegation will include the workers of culture and theatre of Saint-Petersburg.
According to him, besides, in result of the talks of Matvienko with the Azerbaijani government, an economic forum will be held in Baku. The forum will bring together the businessmen of the two countries. The economic forum will be held in the first half of October.
Osmanov noted that the successes in the economic development of Azerbaijan, as well as the opening ceremony of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline are marked by Azerbaijanis living in Saint-Petersburg as a holiday.
According to him, Azerbaijanis living in Saint-Petersburg hold a great ceremony. Saint-Petersburg Azerbaijanis live the feeling of a great happy. Today a great project launched by Heydar Aliyev was realized. The realization of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan is a great legend caused the happiness of Azerbaijani diasporas in Russia, told general consular.
