At the moment there is no agreement on amounts and price of additional Azeri gas to sell Georgia, reportedly said Natik Aliyev, Minister of Industry and Energy of Azerbaijan.
В"We do not have such an agreement now as it may only be reached in process of talksВ", said Aliyev.
В"Azerbaijan today doesnt have its fuel balance for the year 2007 due to some uncertainties, including SOCARs gas production amountВ", minister said.
In particular, said concerns the steps SOCAR will take to raise gas production. В"These are defined now to take a pile of investments. In general, they will include increasing SOCARs own gas production and drilling new wellsВ", minister added.
Besides, such factors as amount of ACG petroleum gas passed by AIOC, amounts of gas Azerbaijan will receive from Shah Deniz and Russian gas import shall be defined.
upon determining all these factors, one may decide on selling gas to Georgia, minister concluded.
