The elections of Mussavat Medjlis chairman are not expected in the closest time, said Arif Hajili, deputy chairman, Mussavat party.
Hajili said in accordance with the party charter next Medjlis session shall take place within 3 months (latest October 15).
Repeat elections of chairman shall take place at said session, Hajili said, but no candidates had been nominated yet. В"There are 142 members in Medjlis and taking into account that fight for chairmans position may result in open controversy, I think a neutral person shall take up chairmans duties. For example, it could be young man, or woman, or old veteranВ", said Hajili.
