Intensity has increased after visit of Iranian president to Tabriz

After the recent visit of Iranian president Mahmud Ahmadi Nejat to Tabriz, the intensity has increased, Jahangir Bayoglu, the chairman of the Committee for Protection of National Movement of South Azerbaijan, told Trend, expressing attitude towards events after the visit of president to Tabriz.

Bayoglu noted that after the visit of president to Tabriz, the arrest process of the representatives of the national movement has increased. The advocates of arrested Azerbaijanis continue fighting for their release. According to recent information, the meetings taken by video are again watched by the specialists of Iranian intelligence bodies. They appoint the arrests of non-arrested participants of the actions and Iranian police detain them, going to their houses, he added.

Besides, Bayoglu pointed out that the situation in Iran still remains hardly. Despite that the meetings are not held, the representatives of the national movement are continuing the fight for releasing the arrested Azerbaijanis.
