The working plan in relation with the participation of a united candidate from block of Azadlig (Freedom) in 2008 presidential elections should be prepared in September, Ali Aliyev, the co-founder of the block and also the chairman of Citizen and Development Party, told Trend.
According to Aliyev, although the presidential elections will take two years, it needs to now get ready for this process. Answering the question how Azadlig can participate in the presidential elections by boycotting the elections, Aliyev noted that preparing action plan of the block on the eve of presidential elections doesnt mean that the boycott decision has lost its effect. The activity program will include a clause of fight for changing the composition of elections commissions, he told.
He noted that he will not put forward his candidature for the presidential elections. My absence aims to assist the block in preparation of block to the presidential elections.
