The fairs will be organized permanently if they promote drop in prices, Trend reports citing the Azerbaijani Agriculture Minister, Ismat Abbasov, as stating to AzTV state television channel.
Visiting one of such fairs the minister said that the Bakuians visited them with pleasure. Prices at fairs are lower than city bazaars almost twice. Such fairs are held at 12 places of Baku. Agriculture products have been supplied to Baku from 15 districts of the country.
Abbasov added that as a result of conduct of agriculture fair there will be organized a monitoring on drop in prices at markets. The fairs will be organized permanently if they promote drop in prices the minister stressed.
