No agreements to be signed during Tatar PM visit to Azerbaijan

There are no mutual agreements scheduled for signing during the 1-2 August visit of Rustam Minikhanov, Prime Minister of Republic of Tatarstan, to Azerbaijan, Trend reports quoting Kamal Ismayilov, chief of interregional relations with cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan.

Ismayilov said there is no necessity in it as trade and economic cooperation agreement is in effect between Azerbaijan and Tatarstan signed during Tatar President Mintimer Shaymiyevs visit to Baku, he said.

During the Prime Ministers visit first session of Azeri-Tatar intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation will take place, said Azeri official. Azeri government is currently drawing a proposals package for mutual relations development and seeking to appoint a presiding commissioner from our side.

Prior to the Prime Minister, Tatarstan government expert group is arriving in Baku to prepare the said session together with Azeri peers, said Ismayilov.
