Today Ms Anne Derse, US Ambassador to Azerbaijan, paid a visit to Ganja in order to take part in the opening of Ganja regional center of education and development, commissioned at US financial support.
The Ambassador attended Nizami mausoleum, brought flowers to the monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev and looked round other historical monuments.
Upon familiarization with the city, US Ambassador met with Ganja city executive power head Eldar Azizov. After the tete-a-tete meeting, the parties gave an interview to the press. Ganja mayor said he had discussed investment issues with MS Derse.
At the moment US Ambassador is taking part in the center opening. After the events, a press conference is scheduled.
