Recently the minister of health of Azerbaijan Oktay Shiraliyev met with the heads of the private medical institutions of the country. The meeting focused on the shortages revealed during the inspections and the ways of their prevention, Trend reports with reference to the pres-service of the same ministry.
Both state and private medical institutions should carry out their activities in acciordance with the defined roles. It us such a sphere that human life depends on it, told minister.
Shiraliyev noted that the laboratory examination may be considered satisfactory in the Institute of Scientific Research and Gynecology and other organizations.
Of course, everything isnt at a higher level in state medical institutions. But it makes us satisfactory in getting full results and giving accurate responses to people. One of the complaints received by the ministry about private medical institutions is quite normal for thalassanemia child and in result the child faces threat of death. In other, the diagnostics made by the private medical institutions is forwarded abroad where they receive quite contrary response, Shiraliyev stressed.
Besides, the minister touched the issue regarding physicians cooperating with private medical institutions, and said that these doctors have already been revealed and punished. Taking into consideration the negative joint activity of the state and private medical institutions, the minister has forbidden the dispatch of medical laboratory examinations from private to the state medical institutions.
According to the minister, the main role here is that the founders of these medical institutions arent doctors. Today more than 5 thousand people work in these medical institutions. These institutions should be managed by doctors. It is impossible to forget that the sphere of health has its rules and laws, Shiraliyev added.
During the meeting, the head of the private medical institution Funda noted that he agrees with the shortages revealed in his institution and assumed to liquidate them.
Within a short time, I will personally hold inspection in private medical institutions, the minister emphasized.
