The Azerbaijani youth movement Irali has sent protest to the Azerbaijani embassies of the countries of which representatives will participate at the republic youth meeting Base (Falcon) which will be held in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh, Farhad Mammadov, co-founder of the movement, told Trend.
The event will last from July 26 to August 1, 2006. The event is held within II Pan-Armenian festival One nation, one culture. During the event, around 40 measures are intended to be held in all regions of Armenia, Javakheti (Georgia) and Nagorno-Karabakh. The event is expected to bring together approximately 2000 people from Russia, Italy, USA, Austria, Australia, Turkey, England, France, Iran and Syria.
Mammadov noted that several embassies didnt reply to their request. And other embassies stressed that the people who will participate in the event are the citizens of Armenian origin. Besides, it was stated in the embassies that the state cannot prevent their visit to Armenia if even the event is held in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh, Mammadov told.
