Azerbaijan-Kuwait relations prospects have been discussed at the meeting between Azeri Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov and Kuwait emir advisor Muhammad Sherrar, Trend reports with reference to press service of Azeri Foreign Ministry.
Kuwait official stated his pleasure with relations between the countries and highly appraised collaboration in international organizations. He expressed his countrys intention to further extend political, economical and trading relations and invited Azeri Minister to make official visit to Kuwait.
Mamedyarov stated interest of Azerbaijan as the country producing energy resources, in studying Kuwaits experience in sharing oil revenues. Further, minister highly appraised material and moral support Moslem countries, including Kuwait, render refugees and IDPs in Azerbaijan.
Kuwait official said his country would further render humanitarian aid to Azeri refugees and IDPs, especially in a view of nominating Kuwait official to the position of secretary general with World Health Organization.
