Within a month, the transport ministers of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey will agree up on the economical indicators regarding the project of opening rail link through the route of Kars-Akhalkalaki - Tbilisi Baku, Azerbaijani vise-primer Abid Sharifov exclusively told Trend.

According to Sharifov, at the moment, Georgia delays the proposals related with the technical-economical assessment of the project prepared by the Turkish side. The Georgian transporters had to submit them one moth ago, but still there is no proposals.

This week, during the meeting of transport ministers of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey in Astana, as well as previous meeting of expert group in Tbilisi held for agreeing the technical-economical assessment of the project, it was touched up on the question of accelerating the agreement terms.

Irrespective of the delay of the project, I think that it will be resolved within a month because the settlement of the question is under a intensive control, Sharifov told. Right after this, a corporation or a stock company will be created for the realization of the project.

There will be no problems with the financing. The finance issues will be resolved after establishment of a special organization that will be involved in construction and financing because each country cannot separately appeal for borrowing, vise-primer said.

Probably, the special organization will be located in Turkey and we are ready to place it in Azerbaijan, Sharifov emphasized.

Average cost of the project is estimated at $400 mln.
