The vise-speaker of the parliament and deputy foreign minister of Lithuania who are in Azerbaijan with an unofficial visit on July 28 met with the chairman of Milli Majlis [Azerbaijani Parliament] Oktay Asadov. The meeting focused on the inter-parliamentary relations and bilateral cooperation,Trend reports.
With the invitation of the State Committee for Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad, the Lithuanian delegation consisting of four persons arrived in Azerbaijan with an unofficial visit. It includes the deputy chairman of the parliament Gintoras Stepanovishus, deputy foreign minister Darius Yurgelevichus, the owner of a private bank and head of a public organization.
Besides, the guests met with the head of Nazim Ibrahimov, the head of State Committee for Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad. During the visit, the guests visited several regions. The visit of Lithuania delegation will be completed on July 29.
