The government of Azerbaijan has presented its proposals to the government of United Arabic Emirates (UAE) regarding creation of a joint interstate commission for economic cooperation,Trend reports quoting the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan.
The agreement on creation of an interstate commission was reached during the visit of Azerbaijani foreign minister Elmar Mammadyarov to UAE. Azerbaijan and UAE have large opportunities for developing the bilateral cooperation and exchanging experience in oil, energy and other spheres, the same source considers. Besides, the sides imply to increase the volume of the trade turnover carried out between Azerbaijan and UAE.
The Azerbaijani government considers that the creation of a joint interstate commission assumes a great importance from the point of view of development of economic and commercial relations. In the near future, the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan will complete forming the composition of the commission and submit in to the confirmation of the president.
