The session of chairmen of regional organizations (including Baku) within Peoples Front of United Azerbaijan was held in Baku, Trendreports with reference to the partys press service.
At the session chairmen discussed the forthcoming municipal elections. The partys Secretary General Zohrab Abdullaayev, speaking of the partys participation in municipal elections, said the Supreme Council had authorized the partys members to make independent decisions.
В"26 candidates representing our party have been registered to date. Despite our reluctance t take part in the elections as an association, we will track the process and protect our members rightsВ", he said.
Speaking at the session, representatives of regional (urban) organizations have put forward proposals for accelerating organization process and so on.
