At the moment, the documents are being prepared for the creation of Nakchivan car factory in Nakchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR), Khanlar Fatiyev, the head of the Ganja car factory, exclusively told Trend. It is planned to realize in this enterprise the production of Chinese Lifan cars.
At the beginning of September, it is planed to construct work sites for the organization of the production. This process will be completed by the end of October of this year when it is intended to start assembling Chinese cars. The opening of the car production in NAR will not lead to the price increase of cars. Just against, it will reduce the prices for transportation. The delivery of the accessories from China will be realized through the territory of Iran. Besides, opening the car factory in NAR will allow creating new workplaces.
According to Fatiyev, it is intended to produce light cars of Lifan-520 in Azerbaijan. The Chinese manufacturer takes the fourth place for car production in China.
According to the assessments of Azerbaijani marketers, it is intended to produce about 1000-1300 cars annually. However, according to the assessments of Chinese specialists, this indicator may become more. The cars will cost about AZN 9-10 thousand.
