Azerbaijan and Turkey Signed Document on Cooperation If State of Emergency Declared

On August 9 the State Minister of Turkey on Youth, Sports and States of Emergency Mehmet Ali Shahin and the Minister of States of Emergency of Azerbaijan Republic Kamaladdin Heydarov signed a protocol-intention. The document stipulates bilateral cooperation if the state of emergency is declared, Trend reports.

During the briefing that followed the signing of the document, the Turkish Minister pointed out that this protocol will provide mutual aid if the countries face with the state of emergency. God forbid, in the case of a disaster, the parties immediately aid to each other. Measures to prevent disasters before they have emerged also were considered, told M. Shahin.

K. Heydarov pointed out that cooperation between the two countries can be efficient. With this purpose the Azerbaijani party intends to expand its cooperation in the sphere of states of emergencies.
