On August 16, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the delegation headed by the Moroccan Minister of Agriculture, Development of Rural Area and Fishing Mohand Lansar, Trend has been told at the press-service of the Presidents Office.
During the meeting, Aliyev noted that the visit will create good opportunities for the development of Azerbaijani-Moroccan relations. The state head stressed that the relations between the two countries are developing. However, Aliyev pointed out that unfortunately the economic relations and trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Morocco are not in a satisfactory level. Besides, Aliyev voiced his confidence that the beginning of the activity of Azerbaijani Embassy in Morocco will foster the future development of relations.
Lansar presented the letter of Moroccan King VI Mahammad to Aliyev. In the letter, the Moroccan King voiced his hope to provide a new support to the bilateral relations for the optimal use of the huge potentials of the two countries. Besides, he mentioned that his country will use all efforts to strengthen legal framework for the cooperation, investments and trade.
