At present, the delivery of the dead body to Azerbaijan of the Azerbaijani, who perished in the automobile accident in Turkey, is under consideration, Consul General of Azerbaijan in Turkey Ibrahim Nabioglu told journalists on August 17, Trend reported. He stressed that the delivery of the dead body will be carried out as soon as possible.
One Azerbaijani citizen has perished and five more Azerbaijanis wounded as a result of the automobile crash which took place in Turkey on August 16. Mahammad Jafarov died as a result of the crash, and Imdad Mammadov, Firuza Aliyeva, Fakhraddin Suleymanov, Raksana Ismayilova and Surhan Jaliyev were hospitalized. Turkish police consider that the automobile crash happened due to the fault of the bus driver.
According to the unconfirmed information, the driver had slept behind the steering wheel, which resulted in the bus being overturned.
All victims have been delivered to Samsun hospital and their state is being assessed.
