Azerbaijan Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov told Trend that the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of Armenia Robert Kocharian will most likely take place at the end of 2006.
He stated that the possibility of a meeting of the Presidents will depend on the results of talks between the Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers, which will be held in Europe in the near future.
The last meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents was held in Romania in mid-2006. The return meeting of the 2 Foreign Ministers is scheduled to take place in mid-September and will be held either in Paris or in London.
