Irada Hajiyeva, the head of the Legal Division of the CEC, told Trend that observers to monitor the re-run, new and by-elections to the municipalities have been registered at the Central Elections Commission (CEC).
6 people, who appealed to the CEC to observe the elections, have been registered. The constituencies registered around 2,000 observers.
She noted that the observers registered at the CEC enjoy a right to observe over the elections in the territory of all constituencies, while the observers registered by the constituency election commissions can monitor the elections only in the polling stations belonging to the given constancy.
Representatives of the Congress Regional Authorities and Local Self-Government Bodies will monitor the elections.
