Solidarity of Turk States may help strengthen Each Other  Azeri President

The solidarity of Turk countries may help strengthen each other. We want the Turk world to be united and the unity to be sustainable, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev told during his speech at the 10th Congress of Turk Speaking Countries, Trend reports with reference to a Turkish media.

It is necessary that the Turk world become an important element in the global scale, and the support of Turkey is very important in this process. For instance, relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are on a very high level, Aliyev underlined.

In this regard, the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline will bring new strength to the economical and political capacity of our Countries. Today there are excellent opportunities for the unification of the Turk world. We should be in contact with each other, Aliyev emphasized.

Touching upon the statements regarding the genocide of the Armenians in the Ottoman Empire, the President of Azerbaijan pointed out that by Armenia rejecting the offer of the Turkish Government, Armenia is trying to promote the genocide. We should prevent the propaganda established as one of slander and aspersion, Aliyev ruled out.

In addition, Aliyev touched up on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, noting that Azerbaijan will not allow the creation of a second Armenian state in its territory.

Finally, the Azerbaijani President expressed his satisfaction during his stay in Turkey and stressed the importance of conducting events with the participation of representatives of the entire Turk world. I am sure that the results of this Congress will be very satisfactory, Aliyev concluded.
